Bat in Rain is a hand-pulled aquatint etching by Edward Gorey. It is one of 95 copies numbered and signed by the artist (only 75 were completed before his death). This is one of several pieces of original Gorey artwork purchased for the library by Bob and Ginger Wallace. The Wallaces and several other benefactors made it possible for the library to add to its significant collection of Edward Gorey publications, original artwork and ephemera in Special Collections.
