Darwin Lecture this Thursday

Please join us on Thursday, October 29th at 4pm in LL430 (Leon Williams Room), for a presentation by Howard Rootenberg, president of B & L Rootenberg Rare Books and Manuscripts. Mr. Rootenberg will give an entertaining look at "Darwin in the Market," and discuss Darwin, evolution, and natural selection in the world of book collecting.

Mr. Rootenberg is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of American, the Bibliographical Society of America, and the Grolier Club. He actively researches and lectures on rare books and the history of science and medicine, and has been kind enough to loan several items for the exhibit currently on display in Special Collections, The Book that Shook the World. Please join us in welcoming him on Thursday!
