A New Reading Room Orientation Video

Special Collections and University Archives is pleased to announce the release of our new Reading Room orientation video, which gives a brief introduction to the department and to our policies and procedures. Geared towards all first-time users of our department, the video is an introduction to our reference desk, the registration process, materials handling basics, and procedures for making copies of materials in Special Collections. Produced in collaboration with Instructional Services Coordinator Carolyn Baber and Information Literacy Librarian Pamela Jackson, this video is the first part of a four-part instructional suite that will include future modules on identifying, finding, and analyzing primary sources in our collections.
